You’re in the right place! Jackie Russo handles all of our Vancouver Island chick orders. Please see below for Jackie’s ordering policies and pricing, as well as all of the other information you will need to order chicks to the Island.

  • All chicks are sexed, 75% - 80% accuracy on the vent and feather sexing. If you absolutely can not have a rooster in your flock, please consider ordering a sexlink hybrid - they are powerhouse layers and can be sexed by the colour of their down at hatch.

  • Jackie offers chick order pick-ups in Nanaimo by appointment.

  • All chicks are vaccinated for Mareks Disease, but not Coccidiosis (if Coccidiosis is a concern for you, you can feed medicated starter feed.)

  • Male chicks are available upon request as well

  • If you do not see the breed that you are looking for in our availability list, please send Jackie an email and she will do her best to bring it in for you.

  • For WELL STARTED 6 week old chicks, please contact Jackie directly for breed availability and pricing.

  • TO PLACE AN ORDER: please select your breeds and order dates from the list below and contact Jackie directly via email, phone, or text. Please do not use the Place an Order button on the website as this generates an email directly to our Lower Mainland location.

  • PAYMENT: Jackie accepts cash or an e-transfer sent to twooldcrowsfarm@gmail.com as forms of payment. All orders of 25 chicks or more require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid at the time of your order. The balance is due when you pick them up.
